Unloc a new way to Ziploc

Ziploc recently entered the sustainable space with the launch of Endurables; a reusable, oven-safe, freezer-safe version of the bag they know and love. And with it came the challenge of convincing shoppers to make the swap.

While toting the new product features was a must, so was emphasizing ease. Because let’s be honest. The only way people are going to switch to something more sustainable is if it doesn’t make them completely rethink their routine.

Livestream shopping

Kroger shoppers were introduced to the perfect sous chef in a livestream event. The Instagram live featured one of the retailer’s dietitians prepping and cooking up a heathy, easy meal with a Ziploc Endurables pouch. Viewers were able to purchase the product on the spot, along with the rest of their fresh Kroger favorites.

Shoppable social

To highlight the seemingly endless versatility of Endurables, we created a “never-ending” Instagram story on Walmart social. The pouch went from freezer to oven to dishwasher to microwave to sink to stovetop, with different meals inside, inspiring scrollers to add us to their cart.

To spread the new product news, we partnered with another brand that makes mealtime easier, HelloFresh. Inside their regularly scheduled box, subscribers were gifted a free Endurables pouch, along with an info card that drove them back to Walmart stores for additional sizes.
